The best-selling and comfortable "Imperial Bodice," designed by Travis Halsey, is an elegant longline bodice influenced by the magnificent story ballets coming out of Russia in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Its built-in basque is ideal for partnering and also gives a stunning long and lean silhouette to the performer. The optional "windshield" is a modern addition to this timeless look. It is the perfect place to encrust with jewels or stabilize any decorative additions. You can also cut into this bodice without the hip pieces and use it as is. Please see the sizing chart before ordering, as bodice sizes vary between patterns. Imperial Bodice Pattern (Size O)
Patterns are in PDF format and will open and print to the correct size without any additional adjustment. There is no need to resize anything once you receive your file. There is a 3" reference square on each pattern to double check that the printing scale is correct once printed.

You can print from home using the program, Adobe Reader. If you do not have this program, it is a free download available for both PC and Mac computers. Open the pattern file using Adobe Reader, go to "Print," and select "Poster Print." The program will automatically slice your file into as many 8.5x11" sheets of paper as needed to fully print your pattern to scale. Be certain you keep the scale of printing at 100%. Changing the scale will yield an incorrect size. Once printed, arrange the pages and tape them together. If you prefer, you make print your file on a large scale printer at an office supply store instead.
