The "Sabena" bodice is a darling long line bodice perfect for many roles. From princess to peasant, this versatile bodice can costume dancers of many ages and is a great choice for Swanhilda, Giselle, Flower Festival, La Fille Mal Gardee, and many more characters. The waist to high hip is shorter on this pattern, making it great for a softer tutu or romantic skirt. It also works well with a classical flat tutu as long as you check to see if you would like to add some length to the bottom edge where the bodice will join the nets. Patterns are in PDF format and will open and print to the correct size without any additional adjustment. There is no need to resize anything once you receive your file. There is a 3" reference square on each pattern to double check that the printing scale is correct once printed.

You can print from home using the program, Adobe Reader. If you do not have this program, it is a free download available for both PC and Mac computers. Open the pattern file using Adobe Reader, go to "Print," and select "Poster Print." The program will automatically slice your file into as many 8.5x11" sheets of paper as needed to fully print your pattern to scale. Be certain you keep the scale of printing at 100%. Changing the scale will yield an incorrect size. Once printed, arrange the pages and tape them together. If you prefer, you make print your file on a large scale printer at an office supply store instead.
